Eliza Chamblin, LCSW

Eliza Chamblin is an EMDRIA-Certified EMDR therapist and EMDRIA-Approved Consultant-in-Training working with adults in New York City. Eliza provides group and individual EMDR consultation, and recently presented on The Blink of An Eye podcast.Request a consultation with Eliza.

Eliza received her education from Tufts University and Fordham University. She is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Alternatives for Families: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (AF-CBT), all evidence-based treatments for healing from traumatic experiences.

Eliza is an EMDRIA-Approved Consultant-in-Training. She provides individual EMDR consultation, co-facilitates EMDR consultation groups, and is trained in Ketamine-Assisted EMDR Therapy. Her work is also informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), psychodynamic therapy, somatic approaches, and mindfulness. She is a trained yoga teacher and incorporates mindfulness practices with clients when appropriate. Eliza practices anti-racist and LGBTQ+-affirming therapy.

Eliza specializes in working with adults who have histories of childhood trauma, feel stuck in relationships with themselves or others, or are carrying limiting beliefs. She works collaboratively and integratively to build a safe, human therapeutic relationship, increase insight, support adaptive meaning-making, and help clients feel more empowered and connected in their lives.
